The signing of a new forward could be on the agenda for Newcastle United in the January transfer window.
While FFP limitations will likely make things difficult when it comes to signing players, Newcastle are believed to be considering strengthening their attack in the New Year sales.
Still, the club are in an interesting position on that front.
Both Alexander Isak and Callum Wilson are prolific forwards on their day, so perhaps major money does not need to be spent at this stage.
The issue, however, is that both players have had their injury issues over the past two seasons.
Interestingly, a striker Newcastle have previously been linked to is now said to be open to the idea of a move to the Premier League.
Benjamin Sesko: Latest on Newcastle transfer target
Indeed, according to 90 Min, RB Leipzig forward Benjamin Sesko is open to moving to England.
The 20-year-old moved to Germany from sister club RB Salzburg last summer and is said to be on Newcastle’s radar again amid previous links with the Magpies too.
The Slovenia international is believed to be open to moving to the Premier League after struggling for game time in the Bundesliga following a reported £55m move.

Benjamin Sesko to Newcastle: How transfer could happen in January
With FFP limitations still looming large, the idea of Newcastle spending such big money on one player in January does seem unlikely.
However, the report adds an interesting line into the kind of deal Leipzig might be open to.
It is claimed a potential loan move with an obligation to buy has been mooted, which could perhaps see Newcastle afford to enter the race.
At only 20, he certainly fits the kind of mould PIF have generally targeted since the takeover, albeit there is said to be rival interest from Arsenal and Manchester United.
