Jamal Lewis has taken to Twitter to jokingly poke fun at Jacob Murphy after a photo of the pair in Newcastle training emerged.
In the photo, Murphy – who earns £25,000-a-week at St James’ Park (Spotrac) – was pictured alongside the ex-Norwich left-back wearing gloves, whereas Lewis was not.

Newcastle’s £15 million summer signing posted the photo on Twitter with the caption: ‘Is it really cold enough for gloves? @JacobMurphy95′
Not quite yet, but it’s getting there, Jamal!
It’s good to see a new arrival in Lewis settling in well at St James’ Park, clearly feeling comfortable enough among his teammates to poke a bit of fun at one of them on Twitter.
Since swapping Norfolk for Tyneside, the Northern Ireland international has done well.
From a defensive aspect, WhoScored shows that the 22-year-old records 1.4 tackles and 1.6 clearances per game.
In an attacking sense, Lewis’ deliveries into the box have been impressive from out wide, while his desire to always offer an overlap is an important part of his game.

A lot of faith was invested in the youngster, who commanded a £15 million fee after just one season in the Premier League, in which he suffered relegation at Carrow Road.
However, he has shown glimpses of repaying that sum with some eye-catching displays.
