After a bleak performance on Monday night, Newcastle need to put things right against Crystal Palace.

Schar to return
Benitez has confirmed that Fabian Schar is available. The Swiss defender is no longer suspended, and is fit to play following the head injury suffered while on international duty.

During his absence, we have missed his ability on the ball and he should come straight back into the side. That could force Paul Dummett down to the bench.
DeAndre Yedlin has a knock according to the manager, but you’d imagine he’ll still start the game instead of Javi Manquillo.
Huge chance for Shelvey against Crystal Palace
After coming off on Monday night, Isaac Hayden is an injury doubt.
The midfielder has been a constant figure in the side since Boxing Day and has played brilliantly. However, his injury hands a big chance to Jonjo Shelvey.
The England international has struggled to get back into the side, and he must seize this chance to ensure his future at St James’ Park. Ki Sung-Yueng is also a contender to replace Hayden, but the South Korean would be an uninspiring selection.
Three amigos start again
Our front three had nothing to shout about against Arsenal.
However, things might be a bit easier against Crystal Palace. With Shelvey feeding balls from deep, Miguel Almiron and Ayoze Perez will have a better chance of creating opportunities for Salomon Rondon.
