Bruno Guimaraes put in a ridiculously good performance as Newcastle United beat Nottingham Forest on Saturday.
The 24-year-old started the new season in the same form that he ended the previous one, dominating the midfield battle against the newly promoted side.
Bruno was named in the middle of Eddie Howe’s central trio, with Joelinton and Joe Willock either side of him. They all combined brilliantly to guide Newcastle to victory in front of a jubilant St James’ Park.
The Brazil international was the best player on the pitch according to Alan Shearer. Now Newcastle have released a video that pays tribute to the show he put on for the Toon Army.

The club’s official Twitter account uploaded a video on Wednesday. It’s three minutes and 17 seconds long, and it’s all about Bruno.
The former Lyon ace showed off every side of his game against Forest, and it’s clear for all to see in this video.
His pressing was intense, chasing down the ball and biting into challenges. He hunted in packs, helping out his midfield partners to wrestle back possession.
There was composure too. In the video we see the moment he takes the pressure off the entire team, controlling the ball in his own box and playing it back to Kieran Trippier. Anyone else would have lashed it away and invited on more pressure. But not Bruno.
The number 39 was exquisite on the ball. There were flicks and tricks that dropped jaws inside SJP, but his passing was what impressed the most. He always tries to play it forwards and constantly got Miguel Almiron in behind. Basically every pass was inch perfect.
It was a scintillating show from Bruno, who has started the new season in excellent form. Hopefully we see more of the same away to Brighton on Saturday. If we do, it could be two wins from two.
