Newcastle United have confirmed their starting lineup to play West Ham in the Premier League as Kieran Trippier starts his penultimate fixture on the club’s books.

It is the final home game of what has largely been a miserable Premier League campaign, which has seen Newcastle United beaten seven times at St James’ Park.

Trippier comes in at right-back after sitting on the bench in recent weeks, with Lewis Hall moving back to left-back.

TRIPPS 😍 How does this differ from the team YOU would have named?!

To be fair to Howe, he's gone for it here!

Jacob Ramsey comes in for the injured Joelinton, while Dan Burn drops out of the starting XI.

Harvey Barnes operates on the left and there is still no place for Anthony Gordon, who may well have played his last game for the club amid links with Bayern Munich.

Nick Woltemade starts for Newcastle, no Anthony Gordon

Nick Woltemade also continues in the starting lineup in what looks like a reasonably attacking formation from Howe, who still needs to convince many supporters that he’s the right man to lead the club going forward.

Tino Livramento, Fabian Schar and Emil Krafth are all injured.

This is the final home game before Trippier and Krafth depart, while Schar and Gordon could well have played their last games for the club. Both Trippier and Krafth will be celebrated by supporters on Sunday afternoon after successful Newcastle United careers.
