Newcastle United will hope to have Alexander Isak available for Sunday’s massive game at home to Everton.
On the final day of the Premier League season, Newcastle United need to beat Everton to ensure they qualify for the Champions League.
Eddie Howe’s side are fourth in the Premier League table heading into the final day and will be desperately hoping Isak makes the game at St James’ Park.
Isak was considered a doubt for Newcastle vs Everton, having missed last week’s defeat at Arsenal with a groin injury.
Howe’s side haven’t scored a goal from open play in the Premier League without the Sweden international this season, with Callum Wilson struggling to convince after so many injuries over the years.

Alexander Isak injury news before Newcastle United vs Everton
On Friday, Howe confirmed Isak has a chance to feature for Newcastle against Everton.
The 25-year-old had not trained with the group prior to Howe’s press conference on Friday but the Newcastle United manager refused to rule him out of the Everton game entirely.
Kieran Trippier could feature after missing the last two games with a calf injury.
Joelinton will not play again before pre-season after suffering a knee injury earlier in May. Lewis Hall is also injured after undergoing ankle surgery in March.
Matt Targett has returned to training and Jamaal Lascelles is available, but it would be a surprise to see either of them start.
Newcastle United predicted XI vs Everton
Earlier this week, Geordie Boot Boys named their Newcastle predicted lineup against Everton.
We’re of the belief that Howe will revert to a 4-3-3 system against Everton, having played a three-man backline against Chelsea and Arsenal in recent weeks.
That means Joe Willock could come back into central midfield, while Isak may be given the chance to at least start given what’s at stake on the final day.
Newcastle United predicted XI vs Everton: Pope; Krafth, Schar, Burn, Livramento; Guimaraes, Tonali, Willock; Murphy, Isak, Gordon
