Newcastle United have been handed a major boost ahead of Sunday’s Premier League clash with Crystal Palace.
All of Tino Livramento, Kieran Trippier and Sven Botman are back in the squad as Newcastle United play their first Premier League game of 2026.
Trippier returns for the first time in 12 games following a hamstring injury. Livramento makes the squad for the first time since limping off against Fulham in the Carabao Cup last month.
Botman, meanwhile, is back for the first time since the win over Manchester City in late November.
It’s a major boost for Eddie Howe, who has to deal without most of his backline over the past few games.

Lewis Miley, however, keeps his place at right-back after an impressive run of performances there in recent weeks.
The major call sees Yoane Wissa start for the second time this week. The forward has scored on both his starts this season and leads the line here in place of Nick Woltemade.
Jacob Murphy replaces Harvey Barnes on the right of the attacking three, with Anthony Gordon on the left again.

Nick Pope keeps his place in goal, with Malick Thiaw and Fabian Schar in central defence. Lewis Hall shakes off the knock to the ankle he took against Burnley to start at left back.
Sandro Tonali, Bruno Guimaraes and Joelinton retain their starting spots in midfield.
It’s a strong looking bench for Newcastle including all of Trippier, Livramento and Botman.
Anthony Elanga, Emil Krafth, William Osula and Dan Burn are all still injured, however.
