Newcastle United drew 1-1 with Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League last night.
Steve Bruce’s side were unable to take advantage of going 1-0 up in the game through Jamaal Lascelles, with Ruben Neves equalising with a header.
Some have questioned Martin Dubravka on the goal, but the Slovakian did save the Magpies at the death with a stunning save from Fabio Silva at point-blank range.

Newcastle had a number of good chances in the first-half and had there been a greater cutting edge, they could have given Wolves too much to do in the second 45.
One man who was a real thorn for the Wanderers was Almiron, who has enjoyed a really good 2021 personally so far.
The Paraguay international was at it from minute one, pressing and hounding and trying to make things happen. He also hit the post.
But the South American would only last until half-time after suffering a knee injury, and Bruce issued an ominous-sounding update after the game.

He said (quoted by the Chronicle): “It’s too early but for him to come off and be in the state he is in we fear the worst.
“He was in distress at half-time.
“He will have scans on Sunday to see how he is.”
Some Newcastle fans have been reacting to Bruce’s update on the player, and, remembering that Callum Wilson is currently sidelined for a few more weeks, and that Allan Saint-Maximin also went off injured last night, it’s safe to say plenty are now very concerned:
We need to pray Miggy and Maxi are ok. Or it doesn’t matter if it’s Bruce,Jones or even Pep in charge. Without those 2 and Wilson, there is only one place we are going #NUFC

Any news on ASM or Miggy yet? Fear the worst if we’ve lost both those players, these next few games (including last night) were winnable games, but without these key players we’re screwed. #NUFC

2 points dropped yesterday.
Played well without a real cutting edge.
Very bizzare substitutes. No idea who was playing where at the end.
Worried pre game. Post game of ASM and Miggy are joining Wilson out for a long time… I’m petrified!
Big few must wins coming up #Nufc

Miggy is going to be a huge loss with Bruce “fearing the worst”
Hopefully ASM injury isn’t bad
Krafth also picked up a knock. Typical how we’ve gone from 3 RB’s to potentially none available
Its evident that Callum Wilson is the key to our survival – Need him back ASAP!#NUFC

Sorry but without Saint-Maximin, Miggy and Wilson survival looks very unlikely #nufc

A point wasn’t enough tonight.
If Miggy and ASM are injured we’re goosed.
Next 3 games are critical and this team under Bruce simply doesn’t have the bottle. #NUFC
