Ryan Fraser scored in Scotland’s 4-0 win over the Faroe Islands last night and afterwards, Newcastle supporters reacted on Twitter.

The Magpies winger nodded home at the back post after a delightful cross by Liverpool defender Andy Robertson.

Fraser has now scored four goals for his country from 16 appearances. As a result of his latest goal, he will head back to St James’ Park full of confidence.

The 27-year-old has registered three assists during the 2020/21 campaign and is still striving for a consistent run.

He checked in during the summer and has struggled to shake off a number of niggling injury problems.

 

When he has been called upon he’s looked pretty lively, however, and he’ll hope to feature against Tottenham this weekend.

Following last night’s game, Newcastle’s £41,000-a-week winger came in for some praise from supporters.
