Ryan Fraser scored in Scotland’s 4-0 win over the Faroe Islands last night and afterwards, Newcastle supporters reacted on Twitter.
The Magpies winger nodded home at the back post after a delightful cross by Liverpool defender Andy Robertson.
Fraser has now scored four goals for his country from 16 appearances. As a result of his latest goal, he will head back to St James’ Park full of confidence.
The 27-year-old has registered three assists during the 2020/21 campaign and is still striving for a consistent run.

He checked in during the summer and has struggled to shake off a number of niggling injury problems.
When he has been called upon he’s looked pretty lively, however, and he’ll hope to feature against Tottenham this weekend.
Following last night’s game, Newcastle’s £41,000-a-week winger came in for some praise from supporters.
Here is what they had to say regarding the Scotland man’s display at Hampden Park last night.
