Micah Richards is rather well known for being a touch excitable but the colossal pundit was justifiably swept up in the party atmosphere last night following Newcastle United’s huge win.
Micah Richards was part of the CBS Sports team who were at St James’ Park for Newcastle v Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League, along with host Kate Abdo, Jamie Carragher and Peter Schmeichel.
At full time the presenters could hardly hear eachother speak, but when Kate Abdo asked ‘Big Meeks’ for his thoughts he didn’t hold back, saying: “Wow. When you said we were coming on the road, Kate, I didn’t think we were going to get this.

“Absolutely fabulous atmosphere. Four goals for Newcastle, PSG didn’t turn up but what an occasion. What an occasion for the Geordie Boys.”
It wasn’t just what he said, but how he said it the emphasis on ‘absolutely fabulous’ was top quality.
Even Kate Abdo couldn’t help but get into things noting: “I’ve never been at this stadium before, St James’ Park is something special, that is for sure.”

I bet there are a fair few bosses getting phone calls this morning from fans who can’t pick their heads up off their pillows after celebrating last night.
The atmosphere was electric from about 20 minutes before kick-off right until the final whistle and beyond.
I’m actually kind of jealous of Kate Abdo having that be your first experience of St James’ Park. If she’s now not a closet Newcastle fan then I’ll be very surprised.
