Newcastle United star Tino Livramento is bidding to win his second trophy of the season on Saturday as England meet Germany in the final of the U21 European Championship.

Livramento was excellent as England beat the Netherlands in the semi-final on Wednesday, which teed up a heavyweight clash against Germany.

The Newcastle United star was influential as Eddie Howe’s side won the Carabao Cup back in March and will hope to play another key role in what could be more success for the Young Lions.

Lee Carsley’s side won this competition in 2023, during a time in which Newcastle’s Anthony Gordon was playing for them.

Now, Livramento is hoping to follow in his teammate’s footsteps. With that in mind, here’s all you need to know about how to keep across the final.

England U21 team news vs Germany

The Newcastle star will almost certainly start in the final, barring a major selection surprise from Carsley.

Liverpool’s Harvey Elliott, however, is an injury doubt after scoring twice for the Young Lions in the semi-final.

Elliott confirmed he’d hurt his knee when sliding on it while celebrating his first goal, appearing to catch it on a dry pitch.

After the game, Elliott said: “Hopefully it’s nothing too silly. It’s a silly decision from me, to be honest, but it’s just one of them, live in the moment.”

As it stands, England are not thought to have any other injury concerns.
