Ayoze Perez has received his fair share of flack from Newcastle fans at the start of the season.
Despite being the Magpies’ top scorer during the last campaign, Perez has been unable to carry on his good form.
The Spaniard scored 10 times in all competitions last season, but his current tally is a not-so-whopping zero.

Improvement for Perez

While he was still wasteful at times, it was refreshing to see what Perez is capable of once again, proving that he still can be a useful attacker for Benitez.
It looked like Muto could take his place in the team, but now it’s apparent the pair can play together. Salomon Rondon and Joselu are the ones who should be worried.
