Newcastle United continue their pre-season preparations on Sunday as they meet Premier League rivals Arsenal in Singapore.
The two sides, who have developed something of a rivalry in recent seasons, square off in Singapore’s Festival of Football tournament.
Pre-season has already been difficult for Eddie Howe’s side. Indeed, Newcastle lost 4-0 to Celtic on Saturday and do not have many new signings to show to fans so far this summer.
Alexander Isak was sent home from the Celtic game too amid so much speculation about his future at the club and he’s not been included in the squad for the tour.
Here’s everything you need to know as Newcastle look to bounce back against the Gunners.

Arsenal vs Newcastle United team news
The Gunners were without defender Gabriel earlier this week, so may be unlikely to take any risks on his fitness. Jurrien Timber is yet to fully train with the squad.
Isak hasn’t been included in Newcastle’s squad for the tour, with the striker still nursing a thigh injury.

Still, the fact he’s not set to play out in Asia comes amid so much talk about his future and that is incredibly difficult to ignore.
Lewis Hall and Joelinton have been included in the squad, however, after recent knocks. Tino Livramento is also in contention after being given additional time off because of England’s successful U21 European Championship campaign.
Arsenal vs Newcastle United prediction
Newcastle will need to improve from the Celtic game, there’s little doubt about that.
Results are not overly important right now but the performance was pretty dire, and another one that bad would only increase the pressure on the team, particularly given the Isak saga.
Arsenal beat AC Milan earlier this week and have new signings to bed in. With that in mind, they look favourites.
