Newcastle’s win against Leicester last season had some massive moments.
Harry Maguire managed to escape an obvious red card. Jonjo Shelvey scored his first Premier League goal for the Magpies. Ayoze Perez bagged a stunning lob.
Then there was almost a minute of action where Newcastle relentlessly put in challenges.
66′ – United win around five 50/50s in a row at the King Power before a free-kick is eventually given to Leicester. Bodies being put on the line by the Magpies. 0-1. #NUFC

Christian Atsu ended the fun by eventually fouling a Leicester player. It was an incredible passage of…football.
It was one that likely infuriated Rafa Benitez, but had every Newcastle fan on their feet.
Supporters love a big tackle, so seeing multiple in the space of a minute is the absolute dream.
Well that clip has been doing the rounds on Twitter, and the Toon Army want to see the same commitment at the King Power Stadium tonight.
Newcastle fans react to amazing clip from last season’s trip to Leicester
More of this tonight please👍

Whilst I applaud the determination, we lost that ball way too bloody easily in that clip. I keep expecting to catch them on the break even though I’ve watched it a few times.

Best bit of football last season this was.

If they don’t show then this on the bus on the way to the ground there’s summit the matter

The passage of play truly epitomised Newcastle last season under Benitez. They fought for every ball and always gave 100%.
This season has been similar, with the Magpies closing in on survival once again.
If we see another minute long tackling spree tonight, a lot of fans will be happy. But a goal would be much more well received…
